At Joy Performing Arts, we believe every child is created with purpose and potential. Our summer programs are designed to meet dancers where they are, encouraging growth in skill, confidence, and character — whether this is their first class or they’ve been dancing for years.
Joy Performing Arts is a Christ-centered studio where faith, excellence, and encouragement are intentionally woven into everything we do. Through age-appropriate scripture, prayer, and positive leadership, we aim to develop not only strong dancers but confident, kind, and grounded young people who know they are deeply valued.
We offer two distinct summer experiences, both rooted in the same faith-based mission:
Summer Camps (Ages 4–9): Half-day camps that blend dance, creativity, scripture-based instruction, and games in a themed experience.
Summer Classes (Ages 2–Adult): Weekly classes focused on technique, consistency, and continued growth, with Christ-centered values modeled in every class.
Families are welcome to choose the option that best fits their dancer’s age and season.
Camps: Comfortable play clothes that allow easy movement
Classes: Dancers should wear dancewear and appropriate shoes, with flexible summer guidelines and no required colors or styles.
Your child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being matters to us.
All classes and camps are led by background-checked, CPR/ & AED-certified, YPAD-certified staff who strive to model Christ-like leadership, encouragement, and care. We create a structured, developmentally appropriate environment where dancers are prayed over and celebrated.
Parents may watch classes from our lobby via a live-streamed TV. Camps are primarily drop-off, allowing campers to build independence in a safe and nurturing space.
To hold your dancer’s spot, summer camps and classes require a 50% deposit at registration, with the remaining balance due one month before the start date. Deposits are non-refundable.
We understand summer schedules can be busy, and we’re always happy to talk through options if questions come up before registering.
