MEET OUR TEAM
Rachel Stevens
Rachel has been a part of Joy Performing Arts for over 20 years. Rachel began her dance journey at age 7 and trained at local studios in central Florida, including JPA. She began teaching at JPA in 2008 while training under Dr. Suzanne Salapa in ballet at Valencia College. In 2009, She moved to Texas to be a part of Ingredients Dance Company. After training and performing with Ingredients Dance Company for two years, she returned to JPA and became the Artistic Director. In 2019, Rachel became the new owner & director of Joy Performing Arts and continues to pursue her passion to see students experience freedom through dance and worship. Rachel holds certifications through Progressing Ballet Technique, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance, Stewards of Children Training, CPR & First Aid, Organizations Preparing for Emergency Needs, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
Natalie Freer
Having danced at Joy for 13 years, Natalie is thrilled to remain part of the Joy community as a teacher. Currently, she is pursuing her bachelor's at UCF, double majoring in music and engineering. With a deep love for both teaching and learning, Natalie brings over 5 years of teaching experience in various art forms, including piano, musical theater, and martial arts. She looks forward to sharing her love for dance and her faith in the Lord with her students this year.
Lenee French
Lenee has over 12 years of experience working with children and teaching gymnastics and dance. She was a competitive gymnast for over 5 years, then was a company member at Joy Performing Arts through high school. She is overjoyed to be teaching at the studio where she danced and to be able to pour into the students showing them the real reason why we dance and how much Christ loves them.
Natalie Freer
Having danced at Joy for 13 years, Natalie is thrilled to remain part of the Joy community as a teacher. Currently, she is pursuing her bachelor's at UCF, double majoring in music and engineering. Cassady Harden
Cassady is from Pensacola Florida, where she danced at her local studio for 13 years and taught there for 3 years. She moved to Orlando from Pensacola for Ministry School, and is so excited to be teaching again. She loves to have fun and encourage and build relationships with her students, and empower them to worship the Lord through Hip Hop and Contemporary.
Cassady Harden
Cassady is from Pensacola Florida, where she danced at her local studio for 13 years and taught there for 3 years. Kelly Morgan-Brown
Kelly signed up for her first dance class at age ten and hasn’t stopped dancing since. In high school, she discovered a love of teaching after she began assisting classes at her local studio. Kelly is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Dramatic Arts and Communications-Media Production. Since graduating college, Kelly has taught dance and theatre at numerous studios and schools in Western North Carolina, North Georgia, and New Zealand. She also spent two years working on the event staff for Artists Simply Human, a national dance convention. Kelly believes that dance can empower her students to find joy, confidence, and a sense of self-expression through movement.
Chloe Ross
Chloe is currently a student at University of Central Florida pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Emerging Media. Before university, Chloe danced as a student at JPA for twelve years, training in multiple styles and participating in Competition Company. She is thrilled to continue her time at JPA as a teacher for a second year, and she can't wait to see the Lord's plans for the new season.

Sophia
Sophia Solecki grew up in Connecticut where she first fell in love with dance and graduated in the dance department from Greater Hartford Academy of Arts. She then went on to study at Montclair State University where she obtained a BFA in Dance Performance, BA in Studio Teaching, and a minor in Business. Sophia has worked with and performed for many choreographers while in college. However, her greatest joy is to dance for the Lord. After college Sophia got to travel while sharing the gospel and dancing in places like El Salvador. Sophia has a passion for teaching as she has taught and choreographed at many schools and studios. Sophia also has a lot of managerial experience, office/organizational skills, and love for people. After the Lord recently called her to move to Florida she is overjoyed to be part of the JPA Christ-Centered family. Sophia is here to help answer any questions you may have and ensure your time at JPA is exceptional!
